Soft Foods Diet
Hi All! I start soft foods diet on Monday....yay!!! The booklet I have from my doc is pretty vague and when I do a search there are a lot of different docs that have different menus. I get that I can have eggs but what did you eat during this phase? I thought I saw a recipe page on there somewhere but I can't find it now. Thank you!
Hi Kinde, I had crockpot Shawarma chicken, crockpot parmesan meatballs, crockpot soy ginger peanut chicken (I like to experiment with food), hard cheese, cottage cheese, crockpot cauliflower.
Give your clinic a call for clarification as to what to eat to be sure.

Yes check with your nutritionist but here are some things I've had that are on my list (just started on soft food on Wednesday)
Cheese (cheese sticks, babybel,laughing cow)
Boca patties (They have slider sized patties, perfect for our small tummies)
93% fat free ground turkey (mixed with mild salsa, shredded cheese & light sour cream)
Deli turkey & ham
I'm having some refried beans tonight. Will try a Morningstar sausage patty over the weekend and maybe some chicken (Perdue short cuts - it has to be moist) I also have hummus and I'll try tuna and some fish next week (cod, salmon)
My plan doesn't allow for veggies for a couple more weeks and they have to be cooked & mushy.
Good luck!
I did a lot of fish in soft foods. Yum. :)
