Feeling Antsy!!!!
I have my first appointment with my surgeon on Nov. 13, and I am so freaking antsy! I want it to be now! I know patience is a huge thing when it comes to this process but DANG! I can't help ut be nervous and anxious! I just want to get the ball rolling! I haven't posted in a while so I just wanted to vent and relieve some stress!
Better get used to that feeling.........You'll have so many appointments during this process, and there's usually one provider that's booked solid. For me it was the NUT - in January they were booking her appointments for late March. I lucked out because I kept calling to check for cancellations and was fortunate enough to see her in late January. Sleep Apnea appointment was like that too. Generally, it runs about six months to get through everything.
It all works out though, step, by step, by step. But it will be worth it!! Good luck on your journey.
I agree to that. It is a long process. Just do not get discouraged. I feel like I went in thinking it was going to be a simple thing and got my hopes up. This takes time. Just remember with every step you take, you will be one step closer to where you wanna be.
I found that keeping as busy as possible during the whole pre-op phase really helped me out.
