My mom thinks I'm losing weight too fast?

There really isn't a normal.  We all lose at our own rates.  And moms are weird - I find it's best to ignore my own in matters of my weight.  :)

Carolyn - the whole goal of WLS is to get to goal as quickly as possible so you can start eating a maintenance diet that will provide higher calories and more nutrition.  

Losing 57 lbs. in three months - as long as you are hitting your protein and other nutritional goals - is FANTASTIC!  You'll be in maintenance in no time :-)

Tell mom to relax.  As long as you're nourishing your body as it needs, she shouldn't be concerned and this is normal.

Moms worry, though - it's their job.
