B: Mixed Berry Premier Protein Shake - only 15 protein, but I needed a change from vanilla for a minute
L: 2oz ribeye steak topped with 1 piece of deli ham and 1 slice of swiss cut into 6 bit sized skewers
S: 4 almonds
D: not sure yet

Liquids - all in already, I'm in the "bonus round" :)
Exercise - walked as much as I could (1.5mi) in the sleet/snow/ice/junk that we're getting today. It was just too slippery. I plan to go to a shopping center and walk inside later this afternoon.

I took three weeks off the gym. Two weeks in December, I was sick and run down and exhausted, then I had a week of vacation. I feel a little ambivalent about the time off, but I told myself the gym would still be there. And it was! So today was my second day back and I saw my personal trainer. I've lost a lot of ground on my cardio fitness! My lungs were BURNING. Well, it's good to be back in the saddle.

I am only 2 weeks out from surgery, so my meals aren't very interesting yet.

B: string cheese with an imitation crab leg

L: string cheese with some tuna and a little bit of light mayo

S: protein shake

D: I think I am going to have some tuna and light mayo with some unsweetened applesause.

I know I have to work at getting my fruits and veggies in. However, for right now I am trying to get enough protein in.

Some of my meal posts early out were "all the liquids."  ;)

I didn't worry about about veggies at all until I was able to easily meet my protein goals daily and get 4 ounces per meal.
