On post op full liquids do you divide up your protein shakes, or do you drink a full 8oz-11oz at one sitting??

You should probably not be drinking nearly that much in one sitting; that's significantly more than your sleeve can hold! Treat it the same way as you would water and take tiny sips.

It took me about an hour to drink an 8 ounce shake immediately post-op. I just kept it close to me and kept sipping until I finished it.

By 2 weeks out I drank my protein drink (11oz) in about 30 minutes! I like mine COLD ... So I throw one in the freezer for about 2 hours ... It doesn't freeze yet but is super cold! I pour into a coffee mug and sip at it!

VSG on 01/26/15 with

The first week it took me 3 hours to drink an Isopure. Now it takes me 30 minutes. I'm actually gulping water and I feel no pain. In fact I feel like I never had the surgery. This is me not even 2 weeks out.
