Hello, just wanted to introduce myself. 

Just had my surgery on 2/4/2015. 

I've already lost 10 lbs and it feels really good. I know the rate of weight loss will slow down but right now it feels really great!

Congrats! I am 18 days post op and I have to say this site has helped me a lot. Lots of good info and people to ask questions. Best of luck to you!

Wow!! That is awesome!! Are you in a lot of pain? How are you feeling? I am 2 days pre-op and still a bit nervous about recovery.

I really am not in much pain in day 5 post-op. 

My my surgey was at 9pm on Wednesday and I went home at 11am on Thursday. I took my pain meds at home for the first three days not necessarily because I was in pain but as a precaution. On the evening of day three I realized I hadn't taken my last dosage and was just fine so decided to stop the pain meds altogether. 

Now i now I just have mild discomfort but that's understandable considering I have 5 holes in my abdomen 😄
