My mind kind of messed with my perception of my size too. Now when I try on clothes, I grab the size I think I wear and one size smaller. The smaller size usually fits. Finally I think I'm starting to adjust to it. I thought I'd never get into a size 10 again, but the last pair of jeans I bought was a size 7.

Yay!! Please tell me what all you did to lose the 13. I had my VSG in 2008 and haven't had a problem maintaining until the past year. I can't seem to lose the 15 I've gained.

My husband had VSG in December, so we totally reset our eating.  I cut out all the crap that I shouldn't have let back in.  That really helped.  I think reviewing your diet and seeing what you changed is important.  Overtime things you wouldn't have eaten ever become almost daily things.
