I am 8 and 1/2 weeks out, down 45 pounds and am having right side hip pain. Not sure if it is from working out too hard or what. I did this before when I lost a lot of weight and had to start sleeping with a pillow between my legs, which did seem to help. Anyone else have this?

From what I understand it is because your muscles and joints are holding your body in a different position than what it was before. I've had pain in my upper back that has finally subsided. Now my tailbone on the other hand...

It's likely because of shifting body mechanics. However, it might be wise to get a referral to a physical therapist and work on getting your muscles to work correctly for your smaller body.
