I have been through the initial stages of evaluation and I have a teleconference with the surgeon on Thursday at 1pm. Any suggestions for questions I might ask.

Anything you are concerned about, from length of hospital stay to vitamins post surgery.

You can find a lot of good general information here on OH, so I'd suggest reading through old posts! The best questions for your doctor will be ones that relate to your specific medical history and situation.

• Do you think I'm a good candidate for surgery?
• Are there any reasons, given my health situation, that I should pick one surgery over the other?
• Get more information about the surgeon, the number of surgeries they have performed, how their office supports complications, that sort of thing.
