Gina our Dr office gave us the binder and included in the nutrition page on the vitamins is Calcium Says Tums Ultra 2 tabs daily or Cal with vit D 800mg states right away for the first 3 months.

I put my backscratcher in my bag at the last minute and I sure was glad I had it! I woke up in recovery itching all over from the morphine. They switched it to dilaudid and gave me benadryl, but I seriously used that back scratcher for a couple of days! I was also really glad to have my cell phone and charger.

I had a really large robe I bought on the 'Net. This kept my butt from hanging out of the hospital gown as I walked up and down the corridors.

If you are going to have drains or anything else, you might want to rethink the silk pjs. I had the analgesic thing-y (Q somethingorother) act as a wick for blood. I was so thankful that leak hit the hospital gown and not my pajamas.
