MAJOR headache after protein drink????

Everytime I drink my protein drink (8-12 oz) I get a KILLER headache. Like "take 2 tylenol and lie down" Does anyone have any ideas about this????

Nope I have no problem with protein shakes I have one for breakfast and one for lunch. Sometimes I will have one in the evening and no problems at all. Sounds like you might have a allergic reaction to something in the shake. Try a different type of shake and see if that helps.

I can't drink the Soy Shakes they made feel like I was dumping. Gina mentioned checking too see what kind of sweetner and that's a great idea. I dump on some artificial sweetners too.

It's the syntrax matrix...I could get the 5# bags so I did. It was cheaper. I didn't use to get the headaches with the regular nectar. It probably IS the sugar substitute.
