I have done really great today drinking my water/crystal lite but I am hungrier than ever?? Could it be the crystal light that is making me hungry??

It could be.  There are some artificial sweetners that people tolerate differently.  Try cutting it out for a few days and see if it makes a difference...  I know its hard to totally eliminate artificial sweeteners, but try not to substitute another low-cal or diet drink in its place.

Let us know if you go this route and if it helps or not.

I have heard the same thing, artifical sweeteners trick our bodies!  Hello my name is Lynn and I am a crystal light junkie!  This is going to be difficult

I agree with Jody. I havae also heard that some artificial sweeteners will stimulate hunger but not others in some people. Like so many things after WLS it is trial and error.

That is based studies where people's appetites are kind of tricked into thinking they are going to be fed by the sweetness of the drinks.  The problem with these studies is a lot of people are diet soda junkies and there body knows damn well that just because they detect sweetness on the tongue does not mean the stomach will be receiving solid food.
