Good Morning. What I got for Mother's Day
....hmmmm .
. I think somebody wanted to EAT that lol ... 
I had a good day. My oldest son called me and took me and my youngest out to lunch. I thought he would also have plans with his birth mother (he is adopted and found his birth mother fairly recently) but I guess not. Is it small of me that I was secretly pleased? My younger son is very close to his MIL and it feels like my boys both have other mothers. I guess I need to grow up. My younger boy called and said he was broke but would take me out after payday.
I got my granddaughter for the day and took her to my boyfriend's dairy to see the cows. His son's girlfriend has a little girl about her age that comes and visits on weekends and is pretty bored because there are no kids around so they were able to play together and then we went out to dinner so no cooking for me!
I found out my oldest daughter was upset because I cropped her out of a picture from her wedding to use as my profile picture on Facebook. She thought I was ashamed of her because of her looks or because she had a baby before she got married. I had no idea. She told my other daughter. I was just being vain because I liked the picture of myself. My other daughter told me not to tell her she told me so I put up a bunch of pictures from the wedding on my Facebook so she can know how proud I am of her.
I had a hard time reaching her yesterday and I was worried she was avoiding me but she said everything was fine, it was just that her and the kids were sick. I guess I need to be more conscious of other peoples feelings.
My second daughter brought how flowers from work (she works in a floral dept.).
And my brother called me from the nursing home that my mother was in and put her on the phone. I haven't spoken with her for a while because she hasn't really known who I was but when she got on the phone she said "Hello baby" and she seemed to know who I was but then seemed to get confused again and didn't respond when I talked to her. It was pretty emotional. I really want to go see her but because of all the financial problems I am having I don't know how.

Sounds like everybody had a terrific weekend! We had a GORGEOUS day down here in Georgia....My husband and daughter ROCKED out my Mother's Day....
We actually spent the day "sprucing" up our front and back porches.....fresh paint, new cushions for all the rocking chairs, all planters and hanging baskets filled with fresh annuals, etc.
My actually gift was a new wrought iron chaise lounger for the back deck for reading and sunning! Yeah me! (I LOVE Mother's Day!!)
