Home from the hospital

Hi Everyone,
Had my surgery at 2:00 yesterday with Dr. Anvari and everything went textbook.   Was groggy and nauseous last night but I always am nauseous with anesthetic.  Was up walking the halls at 8:00am and sipped my water all throughout the night as sleep is next to impossible in a hospital.  The surgeon can in my room at 9:00am with discharge papers saying I was doing so well I could leave at any time.  I was quite surprised and asked if I could stay for a few more hours until my husband finished his work meetings and could come get me.  lol
We left the hospital around 1:30 after the nurse supervised me giving myself the blood thinner needle and we were home around 2:00-just 24 hours from the start of my surgery.
The only place I am experiencing any discomfort is the left incision site just under my breast and it is my understanding that this is where most of the work is done from.  I am very lucky as I have a high pain tolerance and heal very quickly.  I have been sipping my water all day and have had approximately 750mls so far.  Up and walking about every hour or 2 hours just to get the legs moving.
Feeling a little tired so I think I will go lay down for a bit.  Thanks again to everyone for their good thoughts and well wishes.  It is appreciated so much.

Elizabeth
