Not really a Wow! more of a Whoa!

I am little more than two months out and am doing better than I ever imagined.   If I am loving my DS now so I can't even imagine what it will be like in 6 months or a year from now?

Now time for my "whoa".  I was born a blond but gradually turned mousy brown during my childhood  and started bleaching and/or dying my hair in my teens. A few weeks ago I noticed that my roots looked different and on closer inspection found that they were much lighter than usual.  I figured it was a lot more  gray hair coming in after the surgery but when I went in to have my hair done my stylist told me that it was actually blond, not gray! 

Let me just add that I am totally cool if it was gray since I bleach my hair and it just takes less processing time to strip the natural color but it is kind of cool and strange that it is blond.  

Hey there! I'm glad you're doing well and loving how things are going. I think you might be the first I've heard tell of their hair coming in lighter. Mine came in curlier than before.

How odd!  I'm a bleach blond too....I started out as a blondy until about middle school and then I went to mousy, dirty blond and started highlighting it.

Now, my roots are super dark and it's really ridulous that I try to stay a blonde but I do....habit I guess!

I'm a sleever and wavy-er than ever.  It hasn't started falling out yet.  I hope it doesn't.

 

MIne came in with some wave (can't call it curls but it was flat, straight, limp before) but also with a lot less gray. So that was nice.
