I have never been able to make chili that I've liked.  I'm not sure what I do wrong but It's just blah.  I wish I could duplicate Wendy's chili.  When I go now I just buy 2 or 3 at a time.

That one was my father-in-laws...okay but not as much flavor as my hubby's which he is making it tonight!  I just know the food shopping list for it...here goes:

1lb meatloaf mix
1lb 93% ff ground beef
3 lg cans red kidney beans
stewed tomatoes (6 cans)
red bell peppers
yellow bell peppers
5 jalapeno peppers
onions
mushrooms
chili powder

I think that is it.... it's delicious!

Glad to hear you are still getting your Protein in!!  The worst part about working me is grabbing a quick lunch.  Thank goodness for Wendy's chili!

Hi Roz!!!!!, was on the outer so stopped by, just realized didn't get my protein in so I will be doing that asap! my next appointment is in Nov. So I hope I can get my labs right. I don't miss too often so maybe I am ok. Weight still the same and am more active this summer as well. A friend with DS is still losing weight at 4 Mos out as expected but he is inpatient about how fast even though it's been about 10 lbs a month..lol... Anyways am cooking so got to go. .....Jeff

Glad you checked in!!   Keep us posted after you get your labs and checkup! 

Your friend probably sees how well you are doing and wants to get to that point but at 10 pounds a month it sounds like he is right on track.

Hi Roz and everyone!

I had a crazy day at work today, but think I did OK.

B - Slim fast, low carb
S - carbmaster strawberry yogurt with fiber one mixed in
L- chicken salad
D- Atkins mocha shake

Vitamins - all in, except Vitamin D which I need refilled

fluids about 9-10 cups today (includes shakes)

calories: 863 protein: 135 carbs: 30

I am making the most of my week I am 9 # up from my most recent low weight of 148 and it is coming OFF!. I am doing the million day pouch tes,if that is what it takes.
