Keeping it in Perspective (Pic)

I've been getting down on myself lately.  My weight loss has pretty much stopped.  I can't blame anyone, but myself. I have a carb-monster to tame...again.  While I'm not at goal, I'm happy and I'm healthy.

My journey continues, but I've come a long way, Babeeee!

I found a couple of pictures that have help me put my weight loss in perspective.

That's a great way to keep it in perspective. I think my family has made me get rid of all of my old clothes. Last night my husband pulled up one of the few pictures that I let them take of me and said, "see, that's the old Toni." I just looked at him and said, "I don't see that big of a difference. I can't see it like you can." It made him so mad. I think I need something like this to make me understand. I just know that I am a little smaller than I was when I had my daughter 13 years ago. It doesn't feel like much to me but apparently it is. LOL Great job and thanks for the insight.

Yes, side-by-side is the best way to get perspective.

I've been good about getting rid of my clothes that don't fit, except for my workout stuff.  I'll by a smaller size, but I won't get rid of the bigger sizes.  It is crazy and all in my head!

You DO look fantastic!!

About the only "big clothes" I have left are a couple of t shirts that I can't make myself give away and one pair of shorts, I painted in them so they didn't get tossed...figure, as long as it won't fall off my butt, I can use them to paint in. Once they do that, I will be forced to find another pair to ruin. LOL

What a difference!  I think it is difficult as we are still in the struggle with food but in looking at these pictures just IMAGINE the difference in your health.  Something to celebrate!  And we do!

Hang in there!
