  LIKE

Im also  going to add  that  as far as Im concerned exercise is like money in the bank ....  U see benefits right away   U see loss right away  U clothes fit  better U feel and look better   and  have more energy  ... have  a better shape .. look younger ...

but  like in  the middle of the OCEAN theres  also  a whole OTHER  more subtle  very long term wave system  going on too   ....

just based on my personal experience  .  I  HAVE occasionally  given up exercising   because I  COULD   for the first time in my life after WLS   and I didn't BLOW UP   .  THat  was a MIRACLE  .

what I  found though is  that  all the years  of effort i DID put in   still   somewhat kept my body in check  ...  and when i DO   put on  my sports bra  and shorts  and gear  .. well  I have the muscle memory to  still  go kick butt  .  ( and the definition  thank  God comes back the next morning  too )

What  Im trying to say is  the benefits  DEFINITELY   dont end  this week  or even this YEAR .    theyre CUMULATIVE   and many-faceted.  I think  maybe the BEST thing  we can do for ourselves and our long term health and happiness  is to find  a sport  or three  we REALLY   enjoy  doing .....  and give ourselves the gift  of the TIME  to enjoy .

Im  amazed  that  im   averaging  123  lbs  this Monday  morning !!   ( according to the LYING   scale  but so what ) ...    ill take  any loss I can get   -  on that note  first priority today   is  enjoying the  post hurricane sunshine with  a  long  rollerblade  down by the shore  to some vintage rap  !

Amy, I know I'll have fluctuations, I just hope this isn't where I stop. I wanted to get down to at least 135 before I start bouncing up and down a lb or two...and I am not quite there yet.

But if I am done, that's fine...as long as the inches keep disappearing for a while longer.

last week    120
this week     118

loss 2 lbs.  Amazing.  Everytime I start thinking this is it, I seem to lose again.  3 lbs in July and 3 lbs in August.  I could bounce back up but I've been as low at 117 this week and haven't gone up more than 118 so maybe this is my new bounce range for a while.
