I'm 21 days post op today. My menu plan says I should eat 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 1/2 cup stew (ie. 1/2 cup portions per meal)etc. but it makes my tummy hurt if I eat more. Seems like 1/2 cup is a lot of food to me at this point. When were you able to eat 1/2 cup of anything?

not to worry, you just eat what you can comfortablty and that is more important than how much you can stuff in.  You are doing fine.

Everyone's different and the amounts your NUT gives you are just in general.  As long as you are getting your protein in and you are satisfied after you eat don't ru****

I started with TBS. and then moved onto 1/4 cups.   At 3 years out I can still only eat 1/2 cup of greek yogurt at a time and I think it's because it goes down easily so I eat it faster.  On the other hand I can eat a whole package of instant oatmeal because it's hot and I eat it slow.

That's the way my last job was. At my present job I have the next 3 Fridays off...I'm so excited!!  I did billing yesterday so I shouldn't have a lot of things to catch up on when I get back.  Friday's are usually pretty slow.

Menu sounds good....like the variety!
