Surgery postponed

During my endoscopy they found an ulcer and the infamous H. Pylorii bacteria. I have a month of antibiotics and antacids to take and then one more month of nothing and another endoscopy. So surgery can't be in January and because of various other engagements already taken it can happen earliest end of April.

(((groan)))   Very discouraging, but still it is better to have the ulcer healed before they go and operate. Hang in there.

I KNOW how disappointed you are.  A year ago at about this time, my surgeon's office called and said they could do my surgery on dec 30th after they had told me a month before that I would NOT be getting it before Jan.  I couldnt accept the date as I had to cover at work the week of New Years.  I did not have surgery until March 8th and did not know this date until mid Feb.   SOOO, I know how frustrating it is to wait.   IT did give me time to read more, research more and really learn as much as I could about what I would need to do to care for myself without food.  Hang in there.......once this is cleared up your journey WILL begin and all will be well.

Good luck!

As disappointing as it is, I think it is much better to get all that taken care of so you can have surgery and an easy recovery.  Believe it or not, time won't creep and before long it will be your turn.

Sorry for your delay, but you will probably be so much better off to be good and well when you have your surgery.  Good luck and don't give up.

So sorry for your disappointment! But it's good they found this now rather than have you develop complications later. Hang in there! Prayers coming your way!
