Checking in :)
Stacey sent me a message on FB asking that I check in here. It seems like forever since Ive been here!! Which is rather funny because at one time I was on OH alllllllll the time!
Life is going well. Im still at the same weight..... give or take a lb or 2. Its nice to be at a point where my life doesnt revolve around my WLS. Im still strict with my vitamins & proteins but my life doesnt revolve around the scale now. There was a time when I was on that crazy scale multiple times a day..... even at 3AM when I was on a bathroom run lol. I weigh myself maybe 2-3 times a week. If the scale is up a pound or 2, I know its time to increase the protein and cut back on the carbs. My head finally caught up with my body. I now see the thinner Cindy when I look in the mirror. It took a longgggg time to get there though.
Im still getting comments about "You had better not loose anymore weight"..... I just laugh and tell them Ive been at the same weight for over a year now.
I cant believe my 2 yr anniversary is coming up in March. I truly dont know where the time went. But I know Im thrilled with how my life is. Im at a healthy weight. I have confidence that I havent had in years. My only regret is not having my wls at an earlier part of my life.
To all the new people who have joined here..... I wish you a successful journey. There are some amazing people on the LW board. They will get you thru any hurdles that may come your way.
To all the "oldies" lol ...... I hope you are doing well........... and behaving yourself :) Im really going to make an effort to stop in here more often. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas & Happy and healthy New Year. Much love, Cindy

Great to hear from you Cindy. Glad the world is treating you well and that life doesn't have to revolve around the scale. Lots of new faces here and some oldies too. Hope you come by more often.
