Thanks Price, I couldn't have made it without you! Your advice and support have been great. I'm so happy for you that you have had your surgery. I'm sure after PT you will be able to jump on those horses and you will keep the fat away. You know me Price, I'm so uncertain about getting smaller. When I tried on a size 8, I freaked out in the dressing room. My goal was to be a size 10. I always thought I looked so cute in a size 10 pants. LOL

Congratulations on reaching goal!  You may not be done losing yet, and let your body settle where it wantsto be.

Now... redistribution WILL happen - trust me!  Even if you don't lose anymore weight, what you have will redistribute to other areas.  You may see some of your butt reappear...  and your thighs get smaller!    I found this started happening with me around 18 months out.

Thanks Jody for all of your advice and support. I'm praying for that redistribution in my lower area. I don't like the way my pants look back there. LOL I'm sure with a better exercise program I will be able to do it.

Congrats on reaching your goal!  That's amazing!  You can build up your bottom line by doing some weightlifting exercises.  I would start with squats, lunges, and a technique called straight back, straight leg dead lift.  You can google it and see videos of it-Www.exrx.net looks like a great site.

Thank you so much. I will bookmark that site so I have it. My daughter and I have decided that this is the year to exercise. No excuses!

Congtratulations on reaching your goal!!  Great job.
Let your body stop on its own and don't add back in bad foods to stop it.  You will want to go a little lower to have some bounce back room.
Lol- I know about the no butt- I couldn't believe as big as mine was it left me.  It is funny how my weight loss areas were so different with WLS than any diet.

Thank you so much. I do not want to introduce bad foods back into my life at all! I'm still having problems getting the right amounts of regular foods. I'm not up to a cup of food at each sitting yet. I'm used to my sf treats so I don't think I need the sugar items that I used to treat myself. I agree, my regular diet let me keep my behind, it would shrink some but it was still there, high as ever. This time it's flat. LOL Oh well, it gives me another goal to build it up again.

Big congratulations on reaching goal so quickly.

At 22 months out I had gone through a lot of redistribution but still had a pancake butt.  In December I had plastics and the doc took the good fat in my thighs and put it in my tush.  Now it's much better but we will see how it does with time.  My lower body lift helped as well.

Thank you so much. I don't know if I will ever have the money for plastics but I will do what I can with exercise. I wish I could have them take the fat out of the thighs and put it back where it was. LOL Let me know how it holds up. Maybe I can squeeze it in before the kids go to college or something. LOL

Congrats on reaching your goal. I agree with the other posters, just keep on doing what you are doing, and you will go down even further.

As far as the flat butt, I had that, and what really helped me to improve it included: squats, lunges, walking up hills and/or the incline on a treadmill, leg presses, hamstring curls, stair mill/stair stepper, and any other type of weight training. Yoga and Tai Chi would also help. The exercises won't take care of everything, but it can make enough of an improvement that your pants start showing a bit of your butt. The plastic surgeon that I saw several months ago, said that he could tell that I had built up some muscle and that I might not end up with a flat butt that so many WLS people do. I still have some droopiness in my lower butt, but it is less than it would have been without the exercise.
