I did not experience much hair loss post op (I'm almost two years out)...neither did my sister (she's 1 1/2 years out).  So not everyone does have significant hair loss...hopefully you are one of them :-)

Mine started late, sorry.  I thought I had dodged the bullet but oh no.  It has been growing back, not sure it is quite as full as it was but getting my hair cut really short helped.

Here's hoping you are one that doesn't lose much.

Just like surgery and weight loss everyone's different.  Hopefully very little loss might be normal for you but don't be in shock if losing more later on happens.  Sorry we can't give you a definate answer.

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!

Maybe you will be one of the lucky ones.  I did not lose much hair at all.  Mine is very very thick.

I lost a lot starting at around month 3-4.  Can't remember. Mine didn't start to grow bac****il around 11.  My surgeon says the hairloss stops when the rapid weight loss period ends.

Consider yourself a lucky one!!

My hair started falling out at 8 months.  I thought  I was going to be the lucky one to not lose my hair but oh well.  It has stabalized now at 1 year and you can see all the new little hairs growing back in.  It's really the least of my issues with weight loss.  Just annoying that I am always picking lose hairs off my sweater.  Just glad to have lost the weight and now pick pick at the lose hairs.
