Menus and Miles Sunday March 4th
I had trouble with tastes for a long time. I know I push the shakes but I was about 8 months out before I could drink them. I did use Unflavored in almost everything I ate though and I put in in crystal lite. Just keep trying them because your tastes will keep changing until you are practically at goal. To this day I still can't eat BQ foods (except chips...LOL) and I loved them before WLS.
The beef jerky nuggets seemed to go down easier for me than the jerky.

You know for the 10 days before I was admitted I threw up everything! I tried every sugar free drink on the market. My daughter asked what was going on when she got here. there were at least 20 different types on the kitchen table. I could drink anything before I got sick. I think the taste of artificial sweetener is linked to illness in my mind. They all make me nauseous after one taste. I'm hoping time will set it right. 2 cups of protein coffee, 1 small glass of Trop 50 (at least there is more than 1 kind), and 48 oz of water. That's it for me for now. I might try adding the unflavored protein to the Trop 50. What do you think?
I added unflavored to everything. SF puddings, soups, milk, crystal lite, SF hot chocolate...etc.
I could not drink any kind of berry flavors. Eveything was so strong. I finally started drinking Mango. The best one I found was the South Beach Diet brand. For some reason it tasted mild to me.
I like the Lemon Tea because you can add flavoring to it and there isn't any conflict with the lemon taste. I sometimes use the MIO flavorings. I have found that flavorings seem to make me crave more.

Hope the kids are doing better.
No miles today, but did 90 mins of zumba yesterday.
breakfast: egg white, 1-2 oz leftover tenderloin, 2 slices of centercut bacon
snack: ww. cheese stick
lunch: Jay Robb Protein shake
dinner: Roast chicken (didn't measure it, my bad) sweet potato and homemade gravy with a tsp or two of corn on the side.
snack: 4 multii grain club crackers.
Totals: 34 g fat, 95 g protein, 63g carbs and 1200 calories.

Th main reason I started drinking Protein shakes was so I could stop measuring and counting my Proteins.
I very seldom measure my meats. My pouch definitely lets me know if I've had enough. It's the slider foods that I have to be careful not to over eat.
