PCP visit

I am glad you are normal now.  My question though - with all that - she didnt order any of the labs for you and she wont even after you explained why you need them?  Does this mean when you go back in a year she wont do them at that time either?

I am glad I have my Endocrinologist who still does my labs every 3 months for me - even at 3 years out without me even asking.  I have to say she even did alot ofthem preop and she has alot of WLS patients .and a bariatric dietician in her office, so iti s a great setup

My surgeon ordered them and I'm sure he will explain whatever to me when I see him.  My 18 month appt was moved from March to May because of my knee but I still wanted my labs done in March.

I'm sure having an endrocrinologist who will do all that is comforting since you have had so many issues.

I would have laughed too!!  Great job on no more co-morbidities.  You have done a fantastic job.  I am so glad your knee is healing better now.

My PCP will only order the regular labs, A1C, Blood counts, Cholesterol unless I am having a problem of a specific kind.  I took my list to her and she said I can't order all of those you need to get them from your surgeon.

Isn't it great to be "normal"!!
