Being thankful for the love and support of others.

Brian said this morning well we didn't win the lottery we only matched one number. All I could think is I guess that's because we already won. Some people could search their whole life and not find the person they were meant to spend their life with. We were blessed enough to find it early.~ Money is nice but love, hope and faith will carry you through all life's challenges. =) If you didn't win either hold fast to the things that are good, be of good courage...chances are you already have the greatest gift in the world you just don't realize it. =)

My husband has been such a great support system for me. Sometimes I feel like I get really caught up in trying to do everything right I don't turn around to appreciate the people that stuck by me through THICK and THIN! =) Today I want to take a moment to thank the man that has stood by you through it all. This is not been an easy journey for me but it has been well worth it. I had a bowel obstruction 3 days after surgery. On Thanksgiving Day in 2009 we weren't coming home as  planned instead Brian was on his knees praying. He was terrified I was going to die. He was left to take care of me. Alot more than he bargained for. I came home not with bandaids and sterile strips but an incision from my breast bone past my belly button. I had tubes coming out of me and home health making visits to our home. My husband gave me a showers, flushed all the tubes, made sure I got my pain meds on time and adored me through it all. At the same time he was working, taking care of our kids, and keeping our house running. He is an amazing gift. The doubting Thomas in me even had the nerve to question our marriage and our relationship about 6 months ago. I couldn't sleep one night. I was up flipping through the channels found FireProof. I watched it alone in the middle of the night. It helped me to see how blessed I've been to have a husband that has stood by me and nurtured me. He may not always understand what I am going through but he is always there. We dated for 3 years and have been married for 17.  Today I am so happy we've stuck it out. We are blessed beyond measure. I know he is the person I am supposed to spend my life with. He is my happily ever after. Today I am thankful for all the times he took care of me, loved me, and believed in me even when I didn't believe in myself. Thanks to all those that have been there and will continue to be through thick and thin. =)

 You are a very blessed woman to have a man like that, love and cherish him as long as you possibly can. Many would die to be in your shoes, I also have a loving husband like that and grateful for each and every day we are able to spend together.

As much as i complain from time to time. Bless my DHs heart. He has taken such good care of me and the furbabies since this knee. Enev the big fur babies, ponies and donkeys. You are blessed andso am i.

That was so sweet Danielle.  You are so fortunate to have found your happily ever after.  I'm so thankful for mine too.  34 years next month and everyone said it would not last.  Mine is a really great guy and I know that I do not appreciate him like I should.
