Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER!

I forgot to mention this yesterday.  On the Today Show they were talking about teens and WLS.  They were also saying how safe the surgery is considered now.  They said that the good results of having WLS far out weigh the health issues by not having surgery.  I get so sad when I see a morbidly obese teenager.  I feel they have a long hard road ahead of them.  The girls that were on the tape told about how they get teased and a lot of us know persoanlly how you are treated in the work force and even by strangers.  Self Esteem can make or break you.

I've been on Maintenance for 2 1/2 years and doing great!!!

Hi Roz,
It is hard enough for teenagers these days without the added pressure because of your weight.  DD came by and got me at lunch and we went to Walmart to pick up the DGD's easter items and some things she needed.  She wanted to go to lunch, but I brought mine and didn't really want to eat out.  I think she wanted to go home and take a nap - her spring break started yesterday and she doesn't have to go back to wor****il the 16th!!  Wish I was off.

I went to Walmart after work (Thurs) and it was a crazy house!  I don't know why I wait until the last few days to get everything done!!!

I took Friday off.  We are going to an Egg hunt and doing some more shopping.

Good Menu!

Hurray, I drove Poppy this morning and was glad I got it in because it has been storming all afternoon.  Then PT.  I can see I'm going to have a hard time getting the ponies in and getting to the gym and getting my work done.  I can still get my PT exercises in at home and my weights.  I just have to do it.

I started switching out winter/summer clothes today.  Tried on all my jeans and everything still fits although some fit better than others.  Size seems to have nothing to do with it??? Left the long sleeves and long pants because I can't believe we are really done with the cold but pulled out the sweaters and cords.

Meals
decaf protein coffee  35g
eggbeaters, tomatos, cheese
chicken
protein bar  15g
lemon tea protein  23g
???
hamburger, brocalli
protein shake  35g
