We went walking after dinner tonight. I left my husband and my son in the dust!~ My son kept saying Mama slow down. I am training for a 5 K I am walking soon in honor of a dear friends 6 year old son that died of cancer. My husband is 6 ft 5. I am 5ft 2. We have been married for 17 years and dated for 3. It seems like all this time I have been trying to catch up to him. He always walks 3 steps ahead...tonight I left him in my dust. I was so proud. When we got home he said that he thought my Dr. would be very proud God knows he was. LOL LOVE IT!~ Loving my RNY today! We were thinking about when I first came home from my emergency surgery after my rny. How I could barely walk on the treadmill on the lowest setting. I had tubes coming out of me every where...I could only last 2 minutes and have to quit. I could barely make it to the kitchen without being ready to pass out. God has done some amazing things by sparing my life. Today was one of those days I realized how far I have come some days I think I have a lot further to go but today life is good. It has definately been worth it all.~
Nothing tastes as good as this feels!

That is great - congratulations.  I know how you feel I love leaving mine in the dust now.

It is good for them to see the backside for a while-LOL.
