I have been using Benefiber since surgery. Now that I am getting low, I realized that I had some Fiber Choice Chewables in my cupboard from pre-op. I am now 8 weeks post-op. Does anyone know if these are an acceptable form of fiber for gastric bypass? Thanks!

I'm not familiar with Fiber Choice Chewables, but I recommend that you look at the label and see if they are high in sugar or sugar alcohols.  Some folks cannot tolerate sugar (dumping) or high levels of sugar alcohols.

If they are psyllium, I would say no.  My group said benefiber or miralax, no metamucile or things with psyllium (sp).  I would at least check with your dr first.
