Ok, so not a blast here at all - but totally not understanding.

You had the sleeve, and things are not working the way you want them to. The instructions you've been given are actually for an RNY, although your doctor provides them to sleeve patients as well (and, especially in your case, there may be good mejdical reasons to do so). You're asking for assistance in getting things to work, but you're turning down things that work for the sleeve because your doctor wants you using RNY techniques that aren't working for you.

I'm not getting it - would love to help, but it sounds like you're doing the same thing over and over, but expecting different results. Please set me straight, because I really don't get it!

hmmm....confused.  was just answering the different messages i have been getting to my original post.  sounds like we are both confused....lol

i only did the one thing that was suggested over a week ago, and haven't turned anything else/advise, etc down, that i am aware of.

i have done the stuff my doctor had suggested when i had been stalled for quite some time, but since i did the 5 day pouch thingy haven't had a chance to do anything else?

so, i guess you need to fill me in cuz i am clueless as to what you are referring to?  this    is me...lol

thanks.  and hope you can set me straight as to what you are talking about.

Mainly just the hanging on, not doing the pouch test as it won't really do anything for you except slow down your metabolism, trying measurements, that sort of thing.

You're only out 10 months if you had your sleeve 8-2011, and you've lost 80-85 pounds.  That's a bit over 8 pounds a month, or about 2 pounds per week, which is good for a sleeve.

So - and I admit, I'm exhausted here and may be missing some nuances - it sounds like things have been going well, and this is just a typical stall/plateau to allow your body to catch up with itself.  If that's the case, nothing you can do will change it, you just need to allow your body to get ready for the next push.

Lee?  That's how it works for RNYers, I think it's the same for you sleevers, right?

thanks.  lol on it all...i am just trying to keep a really good attitude about it all and i think so far, i am doing ok....    maybe....sometimes, a little bit...tee hee hee hee

exhausted?

and as my doctors always say, i am the exception to most all rules....after having done the 5 day test, i am actually getting full again....leave it to me to be the crazy....have been all my life and probably will continue to be....  sometimes a good thing, sometimes not so good.

and from what all i have been reading, most all people go through this, so that is an encouragement as well that i am not done.

thanks so much for input, and i will certainly not give up and keep on keepin on.....

hugs to all and success on each journey....WOOOO HOOOOO....
