My surgery was yesterday!
I'm home now and doing great.
The surgery went well, not complications. I didn't have to use the PCA pump for pain control very much, as my surgeon uses liquid Tylenol in IV form and pairs that with Toradol as IV push.
I'm not in any pain at all, just sore and puffy where the incisions are on my upper abdomen.
I'm on clears for the rest of the day and graduate to full liquid tomorrow. YAY! I am looking forward to some greek yogurt and some sugar free pudding!
I'm not having any trouble gettin liquids down but have to keep reminding myself to be sipping all the time and to NOT chug the liquid.

Sounds like you are doing wonderful. You will get the hang of all this soon. Just keep sipping, walking and rest. Repeat. When you start foods, take it slow. Tiny bites, small amounts. You will do fine.

So glad that you are doing so well! No matter how good the yogurt and pudding look take it really slow until you see how your body is going to react to them.
