Good Morning. Hot protein drink concoctions
Alrighty, then. We've had our first Nor'easter on the east coast and holidays coming up--let's post some of our favorite warm protein drink concoctions.
Peppermint Mocha Protein Coffee
2 oz of cream or 1/2 & 1/2
2 oz water
1 1/2 scoops of chocolate protein powder (1/2 chocolate and 1/2 vanilla is also good)
1 to 2 oz of sugar free peppermint patty syrup
shake or blend
top off with 10-12 oz of hot brewed coffee (pour the hot coffee on top of the cool protein slurry)

What I am drinking right now is one of my favorites
decaf brewed coffee with ground cinnamon added to the grounds before brewing. 1.5 scoop vanilla protein in 1/2c ho****er, mix with a spoon. Use as creamer in 2 LARGE cups of cinnamon decaf.
Hot chocolate protein - Mix 1 25 cal pkt of hot chocolate mix and 1 scoop of chocolate protein (mint cookie works too) into 1/2c of ho****er, add that to large cup of really ho****er.

They sound great...my problem is to ME, they don't taste good. I can only drink my protein cold mixed with water.
So my favorite hot drink is hot cocoa!
