update on DH and my crazy life

First, thank you all for your prayers. I know it helps and we so appreciate them.

DH came home from the hospital on Friday morning with some new meds, cholesteral and BP and asprin. He has been work ing hard at trying to get those fingers moving and I can see a faint hint that he is moving them. He has COPD and his breathing has been compromised with all this so he has stayed close to home and on oxygen most of the weekend.

I have my first cataract surgery tomorrow and have someone to transport me since he still isn't suppose to be driving. Then the rest of the week, we both have appointments which I think I will be able to drive for. I am anxious for him to get going with his OT and PT and me to get my eyes fixed. Luckily, I have great friends who will drive us if necessary.

Again, thanks everyone for their love and concern. I'll try to be posting with gina and roz any updates as they happen.

Glad to hear the update but so sorry all is so stressful. Praying DH can improve with continued PT and effort. Sending healing thoughts as well with your cataract surgery...my mom was able to drive I think 2 days later (I took her for surgery a few years ago when my dad was deployed).

Thanks for the update on DH. That had to have been scary for both of you.

It's wonderful that you have good friends you can count on!!

I'm sure everything will go great with your surgery tomorrow. My Mom breezed through hers and she isn't near as healthy as you. She can read better than I can now.

thanks everyone. I know my sister drove herself to work the day after her surgery so I'm hoping by Thursday I will be able to. I'll be happy to have this week over.
