I know what you mean. My DH just celebrated his 1 year surgiversary on 12/9. I don't remember if I posted it, but he ran a 1/2 marathon on 12/9 to celebrate. Actually, it was a happy coincidence that it was scheduled for that day, but what a moment when he crossed that finish line with a personal record. Looking back on the past year was quite emotional for both of us. I hear the stats are better when couples have WLS together. Time will tell.
Good luck with that. I am not and never have been a runner. I'll stick to walking. I did have to run as part of being in the Army but I did NOT like it. If you ever see ME running, you better take off too cause something REALLY big and scary is right behind me. :)
