Took a break from the boards....

Hey All,  It has been a rough two weeks for me...since getting my surgery date I have taken the past two weeks to reflect and make sure this is the right decision for me...and IT IS.

I was at the store today and shopped the clearance rack and picked up some $3 summer dresses...in one size larger than the size I want to be when the summer gets here...I was so excited about my purchase.  I can hardly wait till summer to wear shorts again instead of capri pants.  And dresses and skirts to work instead of pants.  To wear a real bathing suit when I swim in our pool.

Anyway it was a tough couple of weeks because I was tough on my self...because I want to be sure.

Good news is... I AM SURE

Glad you are at peace with your decision.  Now on with the rest of your life.  I know, personally, I have never regretted my decision at all.  It's impossible to know where you will be next summer, except, a lot smaller.  So hang on and enjoy the ride.

Smart!  Sometimes we just need to reflect and think. I'm glad you've made your decision.  : )

Glad you found peace with your decision.  It is a very personal thing and you are the only one responsible for your decision.

Congratulations on your buys!!  I love to shop now.

Can't wait to watch your journey!!

Believing this is the right decision for you makes the commitment so much easier.  In order to be successful in the long run you MUST commit to making life long changes, both physically and mentally.  One without the other is doomed to fail.  Glad you made the choice to start living life again and choosing to be healthy.  I think we all struggle with making this changes and especially b4 surgery questioning if this is right for us.  I know I did, and 10 months later it was certainly the right way for me as well.

Best to you

Nance
