I agree with Price, please make sure you can afford your vitamins and protein before you have WLS.  I had RNY and we must take certain vitamins for the rest of our lives.

If you have a DVD you can get a Leslie Sansone Walk away the Pounds and do your walking inside.  There are ZUMBA DVD's and you can even pull them up on YouTube if you have internet service.

I like walking/jogging outside when the temperature permits.  If you have a college near you, sometimes they have a place inside to walk and sometimes it is free.

Good luck!!

Paying $50-$60 a month for protein and vitamins is perfectly doable, especially considering how much we spend on food now. From what I have read, expenses post op tend to be similar, if not less depending on eating habits, to pre op when you take out all the extra foods. For example, my husband and I can easily spend $40 a week on crap food that I will not eat post op. That right there could pay for my monthly vitamins and protein if I got a sale.

My issue is that I cannot go out and spend $400 on a piece of equipment.
