Nikki, facing it is half the battle...but even knowing why doesn't always stop it.

You did lose 2 lbs this week so something is going right, :)

As to the best place for the "rant", it's a good place cause it affects you.

We'll never be perfect but half the battle is getting out of the shadows of denial. I like the Mark Twain quote...

Habit is habit and not to be flung out of the window by any man, but coaxed downstairs a step at a time.

And I LOVE temptation...I just know better than to keep it around. :)

You are doing fantastic and I see another new decade to play in ahead.

Today 156

Considering I was way off plan while I was at my DD's house, I'll take that 1 pound loss and be grateful. I was so sure I that I had gained. In DD's small town, when we went out for dinner & lunch a few times, there just wasn't any WLS friendly options. Everything there is breaded & deep fried, no, I'm not kidding. In the larger cities, we were able to eat on plan so that was a help. I also cooked a few meals at DD's just so I could control what went into the food. But, even though coming home is a drag, I'm back on plan and plan to stay there. I still need to get some more weight off.

Linda, I found your lb!

It's hard to stay on plan out of your routine.

Liz,

I know how you feel.  I have really buckled down and it just won't come back off.  I know I have got to get the exercise back in there...

Last week 129.5

Yesterday 129 (I forgot to weigh this morning DGD#2 was at my house)

-.5

Still, .5 lb is still good. Maybe not much but it's headed the right way.

I googled my meds from this past week and while the antibiotic isn't an issue, being on TWO steroids was...well, I'm done with them now so it should come back off.

We will be starting back on the exercise as soon as we get set up at a gym that will transfer to NC at a later date. That eliminates a couple around here.
