Hello to all of our Lightweights!!! If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!! Besides my tool, I count Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!
WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!
We are in the midst of an ice storm here. DD#3 called hysterical because she slid into a ditch at the top of an embankment. She said there were 7 cars wrecked and she was scared to move. She called 911 and the ice trucks came and then someone helped her get out of the ditch. DD#1 had to spend the night in the hospital with because her blood pressure was up and she had a bad headache. I can't wait until she delivers this baby on Monday...it has been a looooong 9 months. Anyway she couldn't get home because of all of the wrecks and roads being closed so she is at DD#1 house because it is near the hospital. It must be pretty bad because I got a call (I'm on the emergency lists for DGkids) that afternoon Kindergarten has been canceled and they are keeping the morning kids until the 3:30pm bus run. Thank goodness we don't have to deal with that too. Our 2 little ones will be in K next fall.....more drama.

WOW. Hope everything turns out ok for your DDs. I don't miss the ice and snow.
Ran 4.5 miles this AM. Ran an average 12.8 minute mile--which is good for me.

They are all fine and safe and sound in their homes. We was a crazy morning with one phone call after another. My DH was upset because they got orders not to leave their job sites with their work vehicle so he couldn't even go help them.
Sounds Good!

I've been busy with CARF stuff all day but have to go to SC to a meeting tonight. The house got pressure washed today and looks nice. One of the dogs even went to the groomer. We are trying to get everything spiffy for the visit next week. I am so ready for this to be over.
