WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!! AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!! THEY ARE ADDICTING!! THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!! THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.
Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!
Over the hump day....half way to the weekend....YEAH. DD's Iron count is low. Yesterday it was 7.2 and today is 7.0. They want to give her a Pint of blood but she is refusing. They have been giving her an Iron supplement and today is the first day she was allowed to eat so she is hoping getting in some good foods with Iron might help. I'm going to stop at the local restaurant and get her some Broccoli after work. You would think that would be something the hospital would serve.

Tell your DD congrats on the report card. What grade is she in?
Sounds Good so far.

Hi Roz. Eating is off-kilter today. I was thinking as I was eating breakfast how routines seem to work so well for us...
B - a HUGE breakfast that included 1 egg, chipped beef on wheat toast, some hash browns. I ate quite a bit, but most of it really is slider food. I stopped at the 1-bite-too-many
L - well, because of this HUGE breakfast (and kinda late too) I was nowhere near thinking about eating again.
S - a protein hot chocolate
D - well, we'll see. I still feel stuffed from breakfast and it's 3:15.
Vits: yes
water: ok

I used to LOVE breakfast. That was my absolute favorite meal to eat out. I've tried hash browns a couple of times since surgery but they taste so greasy. It's weird how grease feels in my mouth now....yuck. Now, Pancakes and waffles that's different story. They still taste yummy but feel me up really quickly and seem to stick there all day.
I'm glad to see you are trying to Protein drinks again. I'm sure I'm going to be drinking them the rest of my life. A girl I graduated with is one of DD's nurses and last night she asked me where my shaker cup was. She said she never sees me without it...lol.

Working on decreasing some carbs. Didn't realize they were so high till I started tracking on line again.
B: applesauce + protein coffee 20
S: cucumbers
s: fiber bar
L: tangelo + rice/bean/chicken casserole 22
S: protein coffee 20
S: radishes
D: soup 9
cottage cheese 12
dannon fit and light greek yogurt w/fruit on bottom 12
TOTAL 95 protein Still too many carbs. Going to finish my heavy carb lunch leftovers then try to cut down there and omit the fiber bar.
If I stray away from the norm for a few days I like to track and see where I am. I'm such a routine person that my tracker would be boring.
Sounds Good!

Eating to live this week. I found out my job may be cut Feb. 1 but no one knows for sure if it will or when it will or how much notice I'll have so I'm stressing a bit. It's funny how stress used to = eating. Now stress = no appetite. So thank goodness for protein shakes!
B- Celebrate ENS shake
L- 1/4 cup chicken soup
D- skirt steak
S- BMI protein shake
