Good morning. Be safe today and tonight
Looks like scary storms heading across the mid west and east. Lightweights, be safe. Pack a go bag in case you need to move out quickly. Make sure you have your vitamins, water and protein in that bag.
Other items of necessity?
toilet paper
protein bars

Even though I am not in the storms path, I may add that it is a good idea to locate any important paperwork (insurance, mortgage, etc.) and add them to that evacuation bag. If you think you might need to "bug out," I'd top off the gas tank and then throw a few items in the car just in case. Take care everyone, and be safe.
Good ideas. Thanks!

It's been raining here all day but the wind hasn't picked up yet. My biggest fear is the wind. In the last 2 big storms we have lost 3 HUGE trees that could have taken out our house but missed by a few feet. We have 1 left right outside our bedroom window. Last week during the wind I stayed awake as long as I could and then I made DH go with me to the living room. He was mad because I didn't go out earlier but I didn't want to leave him.
Praying for all of our LW's for safety!!!

Sounds like you really have some post traumatic stress going on. I can totally understand that after seeing the pics of those trees you lost last year.

We slept in the living room last night...I thought our house was going to blow away and to make it worse our electric was out and it was freezing.
