Good Morning. Would you just listen to that wind!

The snow missed us but we're getting wind this morning. This stuff would absolutely blow me away...expecially now!  lol 

I just wanted to reach out to our New England and North Eastern LWs and ask that you check in if you can. If you can't, know that we're all thinking about you and hoping you are safe and warm.

Pretty snowy here in Brooklyn  and on Long Island.  Hubby says he can't see his mailbox 4 the snow  ..  The expressway and parkways have been shut down due to the huge number of stuck cars  ...

The Siberian  snowcat descendant  and I had a fun time last nite around midnite ( when i finaly returned via subway from art school ) playing in the knee -deep powder in the backyard .  We even walked  up to the Chinese restaurant to share an order of Sechuan wontons  in peanut sauce ( he eats the mystery meat in the middle , I eat the outside ) 

Boy did they make a fuss over him ... look how  SMART  .. he's a CHINESE cat ...look at the EYES  !!  He was  eating it up ... then he hopped all the way home on his furry toed natural snowshoes paws  ..  Now hes bouncing at the basement door  just begging Mommy to let him out  n  play again  

Stay safe. DC shut down for 2 weeks when we got those 3' snows.  I hope you all do better.

Glad the worst of the weather missed you, Gina...Stay warm. We have pretty good weather for early Feb...mid 50's during the day and in the 30's at night...and now it's nice and sunny.

It rained here all day Thursday, but has been pretty since then.  We very rarely get any snow.

Hope everyone up North stays inside, it looks horrible from the pictures on TV.  I'm sure it is even worse in person.  I don't know that I could ever get used to that...
