A Karma NSV....What do you think?

Hello WL Friends,  

   I just had to write and share this NSV with you all....Out over the weekend with little one in tow I thought we'd run into the mall for a quick walk around.  I ran into my Ex boyfriend from years ago!!  He passed me and I didnt notice him as I was checking out clothing in the window of my favorite shop.  He came up to me and said "hello there".  I was shocked to see him...last time I saw him he was very handsome and very trim in size. When it came to weight and appearances this was so important to this man!!   I was shocked to see him and wouldnt have reconized him by his "nowadays appearance".  This same guy who couldnt and wouldnt  handle my weight at one time, now himself had gained quite a bit of weight of his own.  He was letting the compliments fly about the "New Me"!!  How incredible I looked and how nicely I was dressed!!  It was like something out of a dream or a reality tv show.  We exchange pleasantries and he kept making comments on my weight loss and taking pot shots at his own weight gain.  I was trying to manage my little one while trying to catch up on mutual friends and stuff.  Within minutes I realized how far past this man I was.  How lucky I am to have such a wonderful and supportive husband waiting for me at home who loved me when I was heavier and who is extremely proud of me and all the hard work I've put in to reach my goal weight. This incident sure enforces the Karma theory...what comes around goes around!!!  Any thoughts of this one?   Happy Tuesday Everyone!!!

Love it!   I will never have this Karma NSV because DH was my first date at almost 16 and that was 44 years ago.  He has loved me from 93 pounds to 203 and now at 119.

My DD dated a guy who was all about his body and how he looked.  Now he is pudgy and bald-LOL!!!  He couldn't handle it when she gained some weight. 

My DH has also loved me through thinner days and heavier days!!

Like Roz, I've been with my husband since I was 15 years old!  He's loved me at 100 lbs  and up to 212 lbs and now 128 lbs.  Yesterday  (my 59th birthday) he went with me to the plastic surgeons office for a consultation regarding a tummy tuck.  I'm so thankful that he is supportive and understands my needs/desires for having this procedure done.  He has seen me suffer with the rashes and not being able to buy a bathing suit or panties without my belly falling out of the legs.  I am so thankful to have this man that loves me unconditionally.  Yesterday I scheduled my extended tummy tuck for March 21 and my husband is happy for me.
