Connie & Joe--back in the house!!
Connie....I'm so happy to see you!!!!!! I've missed you girlfriend!!! I've wrote several times asking you how things were going but if you never logged on I guess that's why I didn't hear back from you. I'm sorry about your back surgeries. How is Joe doing? Has he kept his weight off?
The others have given you some good advice. This seems to work for me but everyones different: Low carb, high protein, and small meals every 3 hours or so. So glad you found a Protein drink that you like. Sometimes that's the hardest part of Maintaining. I drink at least 113 grams of Protein a day (4 drinks) I use low carb, low calorie, no sugar Syntrax. They have a lot of different flavors but I use the Lemon Tea. It is mild enough I can drink it plain or I can add Mio or crystal light for flavoring.
The only fruit I really eat is a banana every day. It seems to keep me regular without making me feel crampy. I was eating more fruit but it seemed to keep me at my high end of my maintenance range so having fruit is a rare occasion for me.
Again....It's GREAT to see you!!!!!!

Hi Connie and welcome back. Sorry about your back surgeries. Hope they get you fixed up soon!! I have some friends that do the water exercise and it has worked great for them.
I love milk, but I use the Hood Calorie Count Down Milk substitute - taste just as good as fat free milk in the shakes and things. I can't drink it by itself, but mixed with something else you can't tell the difference. It has a lot less carbs than regular milk. It is kind of hard to find sometimes. They have different types of Hood milks but this is the calorie count down.
Good luck!!
Linda
Is there a certain store you find it at? I live in a small town in Indiana and not much to choose from. I have to drive an hour to get to a Trader Joe's. But any help please feel free to send me messages. Thanks!!
