Feeling Good

Feeling good after my first day back on the RNY menu. I won't say diet because I recognize it's a way of life, not a quick fix.

I weighed in this morning at 1.5lbs lighter than yesterday. Probably a fluke or usual fluctuation, but I'll take it regardless. I'm really optimistic that I can do this again, and am looking forward to the results.

Got all my cleaning done yesterday so today is just about a birthday party for my friend's four year old daughter (don't worry, no cake for me). Then I'm going out for Mexican with my sister and friends. Dreaming of a taco salad (wo the shell) already.

Lauren - glad to hear you've had a successful day!  And you're absolutely right - it's not a diet, but is a way of life.

BMI - 24 or so

It feels good to feel good. I won't make it through the start of my new lifestyle if I can't feel good about the little things.

Good job!  Taco salad sounds good.  Unlike yesterday I dont have the ingredients for that one in my fridge :(  lol   I may have to get some burger out for tomorrow.  You are on a roll with giving me food ideas.  I tend to get stuck in a rut and eat the same things over and over.

Lol, my good ideas are likely coming to end tomorrow. I'll just be eating random sources of protein from the fridge.
