Good morning. Addressing my munchies

Tell Travis that I said that was very nice of him but even my DGSon can open the child proof locks but you never know,  it might give you that extra second to decide it's not worth it.

Buy some Beef Jerky and Beef sticks.  Jerky works the best for me because I get to chew something.

I"m weak too.  I did so good yesterday and last night right before bed I saw the Potato Sticks that evidently DH bought yesterday.  I just had to stick my hands in them....I should have just gone to bed.  Makes me so mad at myself.

I was offered Fudge at work today and turned it down-Yeah!!

It is good to have a plan.  I'm sure you are like me and do much better with the plan in place.

You all just need good drugs. I'm on Topamax and I hardly eat anything any more. It's crazy!

It's like before I had this restless voice in my head and now it's quiet. I'm actually glad about that part. I like to be in control and now I can eat because I decide to. I just need to force myself sometimes and I haven't had to do that since the early days.

It's hard to tell. I am having big memory issues. But I had them before and I'm also probably in peri-menopause. Also, when my head bugs me, I can't concentrate either.

The main thing I've noticed that I can attribute to the Topamax and nothing else is that it like the light switch flipped in my brain and now I don't have those "munchies" feelings.

Everything else is more complicated.

I was on topamax for about seven years pre-op...and while it did help me lose the "neurontin" weight I had gained, it didn't help the munchies...

Neurontin caused me to go from 190 to 250 back in 2000-2002. I did manage to lose almost all of it in the next few years, but leveled off around 200-210 which is where I was by the time I decided on surgery.
