Good Morning. TGIF!!
I hope everyone has had a good week and been able to manage the carb monster and sugar **** I wasn't able to a couple of days but did pretty well yesterday and will try the same strategy today. It really is one day at a time, isn't it? Y'all hang in there and do your best.

Happy Friday Gina...I divorced the Carb monster back in Oct and refused to let him even look at my lips let alone pass thru. As for the sugar ****well...let's just say "she no longer exists" in my world .
I am excited that we may finally have a warm(ish) weekend...time to work on my first flower bed...clean up time...

Yes, it's Friday...altho when retired, one day is much like another. :)
The down side to being retired is I am home much of the time...the carb monster has to be battled daily...the sugar **** was never much of an issue...I am more into bread carbs than I ever was into sweets. So banishing the sugar **** was fairly easy!
We are going on a "pack" walk with other puppies today. There is a doggie walk group on meetup that we belong to but most of the walks are too extreme for our puppies...more of a hike than a walk. And while ours do okay with 1/2 miles...anything beyond 3 miles and we end up carrying them. Downside to little dogs...they have to walk twice as fast as their bigger brethren.

Happy Friday!!!
I've done much better this week. I think I was letting the sugar **** in more than the carb monster, but I've done pretty good with both this week AND added exercise back into my life.
I feel so much better. It is one day at a time. It is so much easier to get back up and on plan now.

I'm catching up on Sunday morning after a very carby weekend. It is so hard when you are staying with someone and have to eat. I do take my own food but there are always some meals you have to "eat with the family" It was all healthy food, just way too much carbs. Oh well, back to the grind and routine and it will be better.
