After being gone for 4 weekends in a row, I am home for a while and glad. My schedule doesn't look horrible this week and the weather, after today, doesn't look too bad so I'm ready for a good week. Happy to get back to my routine eating and exercise and I'd love to get a few pounds off that seem to be hanging on. For me that means being sure I get my protein in, almost never a problem and staying away from the bread and fruit. Veggies here I come.

Happy Monday to all :)
No big plans here today, done with all the first of month processing and playing catch up on some balancing that needs to be done. (I am a Credit Union accountant)
I am still checking out PS, but need to get to goal and maintain first. Thinking about a local consult to find out about insurance coverage for panni removal.

I'm rising but not sure I'm shining yet....still drinking my coffee.
We are slowly making progress on the renovation of the upstairs bathroom. We ran into one issue with the p trap under the shower drain...not enough room between floors and no ceiling stretcher to be had! We needed about 8 inches between the floor upstairs and the ceiling down here and there was only 4 1/4 inches. Thank goodness we do NOT have to follow code since we are DIY'ing it...so the p trap is going in sideways with an incline.
Add to that NOSY kitties who think we have the sub floor up JUST for them to explore things...
Not much else this part of the week...

Well I made it to work only 3 minutes late this morning!!! I love the time change at night, but not in the mornings. It takes longer and longer for my body to adjust the older I get.
Can't get into our accounting program this morning and I have tons to do. I have to travel the 200+ miles tomorrow to the other job site for the day, but need to finish up some things here before I go. DGD#2 has a stomach bug and DD had to take off today to take her to the doctor. I hope she is not dehydrated. Think I will go shopping at lunch so I don't eat something I shouldn't!! It is suppose to rain here this afternoon.
My last cake decorating class is tonight. It has been fun. I am sore and stiff today from the run Saturday night. Yesterday I thought it was wonderful because I was not sore at all.
I feel better just getting it all out!!
Hope everyone has a great day today.

Working... but getting up was SLOW! I have an alarm clock that decides to work whenever it wants. I even had the darned thing turned off - and it goes off this morning - I think I have a ghost that changes it every now and then on me!
I'm looking for an apartment to move to after my lease is up - and in the S Riding area. There are 2 there and of course the only reviews online are negative. I really wish I could talk to some folks who live in them and get the real take. I also have a condo just on the Clifton/Centerville line I'll be checking out. My lease isn't up until June 1st... so not really much to do about the apartments yet. The condo said that would be a good timeframe to move in. So if I take that condo - I'll only be a few miles from you. Just off Braddock and Rt 28.
Worked hard all weekend on the house. Had a contractor over - he even worked the weekend to get it done. Updated the laundry room and my 1/2 bath - they both look so much nicer now! He even gave me a VERY low bid to clean up the walls in my big bath, install my new vanity/sink, plumbing and mirror and paint. I may be putting in wainscoting too - we'll see. I buy materials, he provides the labor - that works for me!!! He may be able to get to it by the end of the week.
Cloudy and rainy today, but will hold around 50 all day. Yesterday was very nice - got up to 50, some sun and just a nice day to get out in the garage and get things done. Back to winter tonight and tomorrow.... The warm temps melted all the snow in my yard. Now it's mud - lol.

I was soooo dark this morning when the alarm went off. I was looking forward to DH having to leave an hour earlier because of the clocks changing but I couldn't bring myself to get up.
Nothing new in my life...same old.

Oh, the time change, what can I say...I hate it. Twice a year I am so tempted to move to AZ, they don't do this crap. Can you tell... Monday is hard. I struggled to get myself together this morning. I made it to work, and one of the teachers saw the the Math tutor and I looked like something a cat would drag in, so he made coffee. What a wonderful coworker he is.
This week I hope the weather holds so I can go play in my garden area. I need to finish weeding and shovel in some compost. I have friends with rabbits and chickens so I need to clear the compost pile for the incoming manure. I need to plan where veggies are going in each bed as well, crop rotation is important. Even though DH & I can't eat much, I want to try making my own ketchup & BBQ sauce this year. So, I need to plant plenty of tomatoes and milder hot peppers. I also make my own pickles. Yes, I like to can. This year with both of us having a VSG, I am going to need smaller jars. It seems that quart size will be way too big for anything except tomatoes and for storing dehydrated items like zucchini chips.
