Still hanging tough on vitamins. I've been able to cut back on some things, or cut them out completely, but stay under the watchful eye of my dietitian. Apparently, when you get just over the top of the range on some things your body just holds on to it and keeps it up with the bare minimum supplementing. Who knew?

I am good with most of mine. I upped my calcium and D after my bone scan. I still have trouble remembering to set out the iron so I can do it in the middle of the night but I wasn't low, just trending down. B12 is what they told me to drop completely but I still take it about once a week.
cold day here and meetings all day. Just keep on keeping on.

We JUST got an order from Vitalady. Yes, we paid shipping because we didn't order $300 worth. But that's okay as we like what we get from her and want to support her in her business.
Based on my lab work, I've upped the D & K....Taking 100K of D right now....since that level was in the toilet. Will drop back to 50K every day, 100K about 2 times a week in another month.

I physically have my vitamins on hand but I have let my vitamin routine slide and its hard to get my **** back together!! Had labs done less than a month ago and iron is low. Those labs cost me $$$465. Insurance won't cover, not preventative diagnosis of rule out malnutrition. OUCH wont be doing that as often as I should, pocket book shock. I also try to set my iron at the bedside to take when I wake in the night. I make up daily doses and bring to work, just have to get them out of the containers and into my body!!!

I may need some more multis soon. I'm good on everything else.
Taking them though... is another thing... Probably do 4 times a week...
Gina - something to throw at you. I have issues with a weak bladder - you know... leaking, can't make it to the bathroom "in time" and have taken meds for it for a few years now... I went to a Dr in Va before coming back to MI and they prescribed a different one for me as I didn't like the side effects of Toviaz (dry mouth/eyes) I stopped taking it as I didn't think the new med was doing anything for me.. but... I haven't had too many issues lately, and I noticed the other day that when I take my vitamins I seem to have it more often. Now - is it a coincidence or is there a particular vitamin that could contribute to it?
I tried googling it... and all that came up was D3.
Have you, or anyone else, heard of this happening? I may pay a lot more attention to it in the future.

Thats why I STILL like Flintsotones kids gummy bear sours ... they taste so good I NEVER forget em and four a day do me just right :) . Once in a while my body rebels and I skip a day which I think is totally natural and healthy ...
My issue is getting my calcium in enough times a day ... I love calcium chews but everyone else does too and I buy a big bottle and half is gone the next day!
I suppose I should be happy that noones bones are going to be breaking but MINE GRRR
I've never hear of it being attributed to vitamins. Did we talk about a bladder lift before?

Yea, but Dr's are blowing me off. Heck, I don't even have an active script right now. It's "let's try this and call us back"... geesh.

I just ordered and got my multi and my iron. Next protein order I'll get more calcium chews. I'm doing full labs annually and partial labs at 6 months. The partial labs all looked good last time. I have the full set in June for my August appointment.
I tried to take an over the counter multi but just didn't feel as good so I went back to the bariatric advantage multi's. I do great with mine during the week. On the weekends sometimes I have to play catch up because I get busy and just forget!! When I get to work and empty my lunch bag I put them on my desk and I see them all day...
I'm about to freeze today. It was 34 here. I don't think I could survive in the really cold weather a lot of you have!!
