Good Morning. Mother Knows Best
That was one of my favorite shows.
I think you have to tell them. DD and SIL have a very overweight dog. We keep telling them they are killing her by feeding her all the junk they feed her. We feed Willie the Little Bites Science Diet and he only gets one treat of a Mini Begging Strip at night. He stays pretty good in his weight range. He does not get much exercise so he is lazy....we do need to walk him more. I've tried walking him with me,but we have to stop at every single bush!!!!
Back on the straight and narrow today. I cooked Saturday & Sunday for this entire week so I should have a little more variety. Back to weighing and measuring and posting in MyFitnessPal.
Linda
Linda, I have checked Science Diet and altho you can find it in Vet clinics, I've noticed it also has a LOT of grain/corn. It's not the primary ingredient but it still has it.
Recheck the label.

Welp, I told him and he said he wondered why the vet had not said it was a good choice when he told them what he was feeding him, but the vet didn't tell him a better option. So, we looked up where Fromm's dog food is sold but I'll also offer to check at COSTCO for him. Thanks, guys.
