How I lost 2lbs this week...How did you lose a pound or two?
I lost because I was disciplined this week, more than my usual slacker ways. It was tough on Tuesday when my guy brought over chocolate chip cookies and the fixings for a fruit and yogurt smoothie (he makes great smoothies). I ate half of a cookie and then turned the container over. One cookie has 220 calories.
So what did I do? I handed the remaining half to my guy and consulted MyFitnessPal to figure out how I was going to adjust my remaining menu for the day since I had the calorie infused cookie....gold star for me ![]()
Most importantly, I told him that he could stay, but the cookies couldn't. ![]()
He's a very tall 6'4", so I had him put them up high where I couldn't reach them. Then in the morning when I was ready to get the ladder out to snack on one, I instructed him to take them down and take them with him. I'm sure he thinks I'm a touch crazy, (aren't we all). But I know he thinks I meant business.
Oh and LOL, I told him to put vodka in the smoothie so I wouldn't take it. He knows I don't drink anymore. ![]()

Get the crap food out of the house! Wish I could, I think my guys would leave with the junk food. lol
My not so nice family sits down beside me and eats junk almost every night. So of course once in a while I cave in and have some :( Lucky for me I am still in the honeymoon, so it has not bit me in the ass YET. But I need to change things before to long.

Congratulations on the 2 pounds Lauren. It does take discipline.
I did better most days this week. I had a bad day Wednesday, but the others were on track. I can really tell it in my stomach when I cut out the bad carbs. It gets a lot flatter and not all bloated.
DH will never stop bringing junk in the house. I have a really hard time with potato chips or sweets. I told him to bring them in and hide them and not tell me but he never does this....
